U21 European Championships Spotlight

With the Spanish domestic season finished, attention now focuses on the European U21 Championships which are taking place in Sweden.

15th June 2009: In Spain's first game, they held Germany to a 0-0, in a group which comprises England, Spain, Germany and Finland. With players such as Barcelona's striker Krkic in action for the Spanish U21 team, there is interest in Barcelona, for the tournament.

Taking the Euro 2008 title and also the U21 title would be a coup for a country which had failed for so long to win a major title. Spain's next game is:
